 When l arrive at properties in Guildford, Cranleigh or any of the neighbouring Surrey villages on the arranged date, i immediately get to work. Having already established that no cables lay beneath the intended site, i start on the groundworks. These include:

  • Digging out to a minimum of 150mm below the damp-proof course

  • Establishing a fall that runs away from the property for optimised rainwater run-off

  • Laying patios beside lawns 10mm below ground level for easy mowing
